Dr. Shelia “Samone” Brown is a native of Arkansas where she grew up excelling in track and field as an All American athlete. She has served over twenty years in the field of education. In 2010, she was honored as one of the top 100 education leaders in the State of Texas. Dr. Samone’s heart for education encompasses working to protect individuals from devastating life outcomes; especially teens and young adults. She serves as a university adjunct faculty member.

 

She is a motivational speaker,  whose current focus is the prevention of domestic abuse through a collective effort of individuals. She believes that united people can transform drastic situations to life altering successes.

 

Dr. Samone resides in Texas and serves within her church and various state, national, and international organizations.
